ST THOMAS LOFTS
St Thomas Lofts, Swansea
St Thomas's Primary School is a landmark building overlooking Swansea Bay. This building was constructed in 1900 and was the main primary school for the St Thomas catchment area. This unusual design had segregated floors for boys and girls. The building is around 100 ft tall and has stunning views over Swansea Bay and the city, looking right over to Mumbles Head.
This Victorian primary school has been converted into 43 residential units, 5 of which are contemporary town houses. The building lends itself to open plan live/work apartments. Internally they were finished to a contemporary style with mezzanine floors and vaulted ceilings.
The property has fantastic views over Swansea city centre, SA1 and Mumbles. There is private parking for 38 spaces, along with landscaped gardens. St Thomas’s, as an area, has improved enormously over the last three years and this trend is set to continue as SA1 and the city centre undergo their current transformation.
